NASPA President's Statement on the Death of Pope Francis

"On this 2025 Easter Monday, the Church celebrates the reality of the resurrection, and the beauty and message of our Easter liturgies still resound as we mourn the passing of Pope Francis this morning. It brings to mind the paradox of Good Friday and our evolving and essential understanding of death and new life. We thank Pope Francis for his tireless work here on this earth and his immense love and care of our Church. On behalf of our NASPA board, we express our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to his family as the Church mourns his passing. We will keep this mourning period with a special place of prayer located in our Shrines and may he rest in peace!"
